Match report HPK-Lukko

HPK - Lukko 6 - 4 (1 - 2, 1 - 2, 4 - 0)

Lukko took a surprising 2-1 lead after the first period. Hannus and Yli-Torkko scored both a power play goal. Kucharcik assisted on the goal of Yli-Torkko and scored his first point. Just before the end of the first period, HPK scored 1-2.

HPK came back to 2-2 in the second period. Midway trough the period Lukko took again a two goal lead, now within a minute. Toporowski scored a power play goal. Hagelberg scored a rebound.

In the third period Lukko was totally overran by HPK. After the 3-4 in 49th minute from Voutilainen, HPK scored twice within one-and-half minute taking a 5-4 lead. Goals were from Hassinen and Sprukts. The 6-4 was an empty net goal scored by again Sprukts.

Lukko has now a three week break. On December 27th they play home against SaiPa. This will be the start of a campaign to secure a place in the play offs.
